New constraints on primordial features from the galaxy two-point correlation function

چکیده
Features in the primordial power spectrum represent imprinted signal density perturbations of physics and evolution early Universe. A measurement such signals will represents need to go beyond minimal assumption made for initial conditions cosmological perturbations. For first time, we study different templates with undamped oscillations or a bump from two-point correlation function measured BOSS DR12 galaxies constraining amplitude features be at most few percent. Constraints are competitive ones obtained {\em Planck} DR3.

Cosmological constraints from the correlation function of galaxy clusters
I compare various semi-analytic models for the bias of dark matter halos with halo clustering properties observed in recent numerical simulations. The best fitting model is one based on the collapse of ellipsoidal perturbations proposed by Sheth, Mo & Tormen (1999), which fits the halo correlation length to better than 8 per cent accuracy. Using this model, I confirm that the correlation length...

متن کاملConstraints on galaxy bias, matter density, and primordial non-Gaussianity from the PSCz galaxy redshift survey.
We compute the bispectrum for the IRAS PSCz catalog and find that the galaxy distribution displays the characteristic signature of gravity. Assuming Gaussian initial conditions, we obtain galaxy biasing parameters 1/b(1) = 1.20(+0.18)(-0.19) and b(2)/b(2)(1) = -0.42+/-0.19, with no sign of scale-dependent bias for k < or = 0.3h Mpc(-1). These results impose stringent constraints on non-Gaussian...
متن کاملOptimal Constraints on Local Primordial Non-Gaussianity from the Two-Point Statistics of Large-Scale Structure
One of the main signatures of primordial non-Gaussianity of the local type is a scale-dependent correction to the bias of large-scale structure tracers such as galaxies or clusters, whose amplitude depends on the bias of the tracers itself. The dominant source of noise in the power spectrum of the tracers is caused by sampling variance on large scales (where the non-Gaussian signal is strongest...
متن کاملStatistical Analysis of Galaxy Surveys-II. The 3-point galaxy correlation function measured from the 2dFGRS
We present new results for the 3-point correlation function, ζ, measured as a function of scale, luminosity and colour from the final version of the two-degree field galaxy redshift survey (2dFGRS). The reduced three point correlation function, Q3 ∼ ζ/ξ , is estimated for different triangle shapes and sizes, employing a full covariance analysis. The form of Q3 is consistent with the expectation...
